NATIONAL REGISTER OF DOCKWORKERS –\u00a0PROVISION OF CARGO HANDLING SERVICES<\/span><\/span><\/h4>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text animation=”eut-fade-in-up” animation_delay=”600″ css=”.vc_custom_1595891164799{margin-bottom: 30px !important;}”]Until 2011, the occupation of dockworkers was “closed”. Since then, a variety of laws and regulations have been issued, resulting in a complex legal framework governing the exercise of the profession of dockworkers.<\/p>\n

A basic condition for the exercise of this occupation is the registration with the National Register of Dockworkers. The latter includes two levels: Register A ‘and Register B’. Register B ‘is subdivided into Register B’ Port dockworkers, Register B ‘Land dockworkers and Register B’ Truck operators license holders. The legal framework sets out the conditions for enrollment in the individual categories of dockworkers.<\/p>\n

The freight forwarding sector concerns both individuals interested in working as dockworkers and businesses, as well, wishing to sell their products on their own or providing this service on behalf of third parties.<\/p>\n

For a number of years, our office has been dealing with all kinds of issues related to the occupation of dockworker and the provision of related freight services.
